A Little More About The Sour Crumb
I wanted to feed my family food made with intention, not shortcuts. The Sour Crumb is naturally fermented sourdough baked from my home kitchen.
I recently launched The Cozy Stitch for the same reason: beautiful, functional home goods made by hand, in small batches, the way things should be made.

Q: When do orders close?
A: Monday at 6 PM for that week’s pickup. You can order anytime during the week, but anything after Monday 6 PM rolls into the following week.
Q: What allergens do you avoid?
A: The kitchen is corn-free and nut-free. We work with wheat, eggs, dairy, and soy, and take care to avoid cross-contamination. It isn’t a certified allergen-free facility, so if you have allergy concerns, reach out and we can talk through it.
Q: Do you teach sourdough?
A: Yes! I teach Sourdough 101 monthly at Lemon & Lavender on Main Street in Madison. It’s beginner-friendly and hands-on, and covers feeding schedules, shaping, troubleshooting, and how sourdough actually works.
Q: What’s your favorite product?
A: My cookies! My bread is delicious too, but there’s something special about a good chewy cookie.
